Moderated by La Gazzetta dello Sport deputy editor Pier Bergonzi

The cycling race, organised by Gazzetta, has for 110 years been the most iconic sporting event in Italy. We will talk about the Giro d’Italia, the first of which was held back in 1909, with Vicenzo Nibali, the greatest Italian cyclist of the past 40 years and two-time winner of the Giro, in 2013 and 2016.

Also in attendance will be RCS MediaGroup chief executive Urbano Cairo, RCS Sport general manager Paolo Bellino, director of the Giro d’Italia Mauro Vegni, Italy national cycling team manager Davide Cassani, and Rai Sport director Auro Bulbarelli, the voice of cycling at Rai. The epic tale of this great race will be recounted at the event, including some of the greats from Nibali’s era, the future of the Giro and the best-loved stages.
