Damiano Pippi

Damiano Pippi, born in 1971, is part of the second generation of Italy players who won pretty much everything there was to win with the national team. What is even more extraordinary about Pippi’s career is that he enjoyed two successful spells: first with the ‘Fenomeni’ and then after returning to the national team in his second life as a libero, when he went on to play the 2004 Olympics final in Athens.
