Born in Rome in 1962, Corsini began working for Rai in 1997. After a brief spell on TV, he moved to the sports desk of Radio Rai’s Giornale Radio (Radio Newspaper) on a permanent basis, initially mostly as a pitchside correspondent and later as a studio presenter. He hosted Radiouno‘s Sunday afternoon show Domenica Sport and the Saturday edition of popular football programme Tutto il calcio minuto per minuto, before taking over the Sunday edition in 2012 following the passing of Alfredo Provenzali. Corsini thus became only the fourth presenter of the show in its now 60-year history, succeeding Roberto Bortoluzzi, Massimo De Luca and Provenzali. Corsini was named as Radio Rai’s new sports editor-in-chief after Riccardo Cucchi retired in 2017.
