Pasquale Di Molfetta, known as Linus, was born in Foligno on 30 October 1957. A well-known Italian radio host, he has been the director of Radio Deejay since 1996. He grew up in a family of Apulian origins and moved at a very young age to Paderno Dugnano (Milan) with his younger brother, Albertino, who also became a DJ. The nickname Linus was given to him by his middle school teacher. A fan of competitive running since 1996, he competed in 11 consecutive New York marathons from the year 2002. However it was in Florence that he achieved his fastest time, completing the marathon in 3 hours and 27 minutes. Since 2005 he has organised the Deejay Ten event, which was first held in Milan but has since spread across Italy. He has published four books including Parli sempre di corsa (‘you’re always talking about running’) in 2010, which covers his experiences of running. He was also honorary president of the Milan Marathon, contributing to its growth from 2009 onwards. Since 2014 he has been the host of Deejay Training Center, which is broadcast on Sunday at noon, alongside Stefano Baldini and Davide Cassani.
