Stefano Tirelli was born in Milan on 11 June 1969. He holds a degree in sports science, an ISEF (Istituto Superiore di Educazione Fisica) diploma in massage therapy and a masters in sports psychology. He owns Studio Stefano Tirelli, a centre of excellence in Milan. The facility is frequented by leading Italian and international athletes, sports psychologists representing individual athletes and international teams (particularly in football) and instructors on the FIGC course in fitness coaching at Milan’s Università Cattolica. He also founded Ecolife, a centre of natural wellbeing in Milan, as well as Ecolife International Shiatsu School in Milan and Lugano. He has worked as a pundit both on radio and television for a number of years (Rai and Sky), discussing mental training and additional sports techniques, and he currently co-hosts the programme “Olympia” with Dario Ricci on Radio 24. In 2018, he founded “Sport for Nature”, a concept that harnesses the power of sport as a means of communication to raise awareness among young people about environmental issues and climate change.
